| 试论中英思维方式对翻译歌词的影响 ——以The Lakes为例
In our daily life, songs not only bring people relaxation, but also convey the artistic conception.English, as the most widely used language at present,should learn how people in different languages express their feelings from songs. However, different languages express different ways of thinking.Just as Chinese dialects and Putonghua express different meanings,there are different ways of thinking and expression between Chinese and English. Most of the papers are based on an article or sentence to illustrate the impact of different thinking on translation, but this paper will use lyrics to study. Different from the article,I think the lyrics will make people more interested in exploring the translation of words, especially for people who like music. Melody is the soul and lyrics are the body to express the soul, both of which are indispensable.Nowadays, more and more people listen to English songs,and most of them learn another language through songs. It can be seen that the translation of English songs is no lessimportant than the translation of articles or movie lines.
The reason for choosing this topic is that one day when I was listening toa song, I suddenly found that there were many errors in the translation of lyrics in a certain software, and also asked my friends around to discuss. Then it is found that the most serious is the impact of thinking on translation,so this paper will give a brief introduction of thinking differences and the impact of examples on translation, and finally give some reasonable translation suggestions.
