大学生群体在抖音平台中的自我呈现研究

大学生群体在抖音平台中的自我呈现研究

摘 要

大学生群体是社会组成中最为活跃的部分,他们对于自我角色、地位、身份、形象有着强烈的表达欲望,在大众传播视域下有着鲜明而张扬的个性特征。近年来互联网与媒介技术的迅猛发展,为当代大学生的自我表达提供了技术与环境支持。作为受过高等教育,同时又是伴随着互联网的发展成长起来的一代人,新媒介技术是大学生群体最为擅长的自我建构与自我呈现方式。不同的媒介平台与呈现方式的选择折射出不同的媒介力量与优势。作为互联网背景下的新风口,“记录美好生活”的抖音迅速在短视频市场占据领头羊的地位,为大学生群体在内的诸多群体提供了表达自我与展示自我的广阔空间。本文从欧文·戈夫曼的拟剧理论出发,通过问卷调查、文本分析、深度访谈等研究方法,对大学生群体在抖音平台的自我呈现与表达进行研究。

研究发现,大学生群体在抖音平台的呈现类型主要集中于:生活日常展示、外貌展示、恶搞逗趣。接着文章发现大学生群体在抖音平台进行自我呈现的动机:自我层面上源于获得自我满足的需要、人际层面上源于促进他人关系的需要、物质层面上源于实现内容变现的需要。文章也指出,表演与舞台是鱼与水的关系,因此在抖音这个舞台,大学生群体的呈现方式分别体现为:理想化表演、去神秘化表演,以及剧班同谋。最后,基于一系列研究结果,文章对大学生群体在抖音平台的呈现行为进行反思,指出其抖音呈现行为存在着混淆虚拟与现实、过度表演,以及隐私泄露的问题。相对应的解决措施应从自身做起保持头脑清醒、适度表演保持初心、加强自己的隐私安全意识,除了从用户自身角度,平台方也应在技术与政策层面做出改进,共同为用户营造良好的网络环境。

Abstract

College students are the most active part in the social composition.They have a strong desire to express their role, status, identity and image,and have distinct and flamboyant personality characteristics from the perspective of mass communication. In recent years, the rapid development of Internet and media technology provides technical and environmental support for contemporary college students' self-expression. As a generation with higher education and growing up with the development of Internet,new media technology is the best way for college students to construct and present themselves. Different media platforms and presentation modes reflect different media strengths and advantages.As a new outlet under the background of the Internet,the vibrato of "recording a better life" quickly occupies a leading position in the short video market, providing a broad space for many groups including college students to express themselves and show themselves. Based on erving goffman's parody theory,this paper studies the self-presentationand expression of college students on the vibrato platform through questionnaire survey, text analysis and in-depth interview. It is found that the presentation types of college students on the vibrato platform mainly focus on: daily life display, appearance display, spoof and funny. Then, the paper finds out that the motivation of college students to present themselves on the vibrato platform: self-satisfaction comes from the needto obtain self-satisfaction,interpersonal from the need to promote other people's relations, and material from the need to realize content realization. The article also points out that performance andstage are the relationship between fish and water. Therefore, on the stage of vibrato,the presentation ways of college students are as follows: idealized performance, demystified performance, and drama class complicity. Finally, based on a series of research results,this paper reflects on the presentation behavior of college students on the vibrato platform,and points out that there are some problems in their vibrato presentation behavior, such as confusing virtual and reality, over-performing, and revealing privacy. Corresponding solutions should start from oneself, keep a clear head,perform moderately, keep an initial heart, and strengthen one's awareness of privacy and safety. Besides from the user's own point of view,the platform should also make improvements at the technical and policy levels to jointly create a good network environment for users.
