多模态理论在小学英语中年段词汇教学中的应用研究【英文】

Abstract


As we all know, vocabulary is the basic element of language,and the importance of vocabulary for language learning is self-evident. However, the current situation of English vocabulary teaching in primary schools in China is not satisfactory. Traditional teaching method is commonly used in English vocabulary teaching, which is teacher-centered,with a fixed teaching process and a single form of teaching, reducing students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning. Therefore, exploring an efficient and attractive way of teaching vocabulary has become the key to solving the above problems.
The study aims to apply multimodal theory to middle grades English vocabulary teaching in primary school, and to explore the feasibility and effectiveness ofmultimodal theory in middle grades English vocabulary teaching in primary school. Firstly, the author systematically reviews the relevant researches athome and abroad on multimodal theory and English vocabulary teaching. After that, the author analyzes the multimodal discourse modality symbols in primary school English teaching in detail, starting from both sensory modality and situational modality. Finally, the author elaborates on the experimental process ofteaching this study and analyzes the results of the experiment. The experimental results show that the multimodal English vocabulary teaching mode can improve students’ interest and achievement in vocabulary learning,and has a positive effect on the teaching of English vocabulary in primary school.

摘 要

众所周知,词汇是语言的基本要素,词汇对于语言学习的重要性不言而喻。然而,我国小学英语词汇教学的现状却不容乐观。在我国小学英语词汇教学中普遍使用传统的教学方法,这种教学方法以教师为主导,教学流程固定,教学形式单一,降低了学生的学习兴趣和热情。因此,探索出一种高效且有吸引力的词汇教学方式成为解决以上问题的关键。
本研究从多模态理论出发,旨在将多模态理论应用于小学英语中年段词汇教学中,探索多模态理论在小学中年段英语词汇教学中的可行性和有效性。首先,笔者对多模态理论和英语词汇教学的国内外研究现状进行了系统阐述。然后,笔者从感官模态和情景模态两方面入手,详细分析了小学英语教学中的多模态话语模态符号。最后,笔者详细阐述了本研究的教学实验过程,并对实验结果进行了分析。实验结果表明,多模态英语词汇教学模式能够提高学生词汇学习兴趣和成绩,对小学英语词汇教学具有积极的作用。
